Today in my Introduction to Writing Studies course, I showed a clip from a video series called "Animated Soviet Propaganda." I'm teaching a course next semester on propaganda and more or less advertising the course for my students. But I also had them read this blog as an assignment for class so that they could see this representation of a scholarly conference. The scholarship about how the Chinese government uses the Revolutionary Songs make an interesting connection to the work I'm doing. My students are reading and comment here now in class.
