We are reading this blog in our writing class and this page was the one that stood out to me. It basically tied in with the idea of putting all of this information in a comic book form. There really is only so much we can take in from reading the text. If we can intake the information through other senses we can learn and remember much more. Listening to interviews instead of reading them allows us to hear the change of tone and understand what the speaker wants to get across. Hearing the tune to a song, not just reading the lyrics, brings the words to life and engages a different part of our brain that could help us learn. Reading a paper, but with pictures and drawing and videos to go along with it, brings the subject to life for the reader, and perhaps would inspire them to investigate an issue further or take away an important fact. The way we present things is crucial, and is one of the reasons why writing has taken on more of a creative form; such as the use of multimedia and oral presentations. I like that this was incorporated in a blog that was trying to do just that; give us a new way of looking at things.
